Nashua Mobile
DO NOT UPGRADE WITH NASHUA MOBILE

I upgraded my contract on 1 Sep 2013 from MTN Anytime 100 to MTN Anytime 200. I received my new phone on 5 Sep. On 15 Sep I got my invoice and was surprised to see that I have been charged an additional hardware subsidy of R189. This is ridiculous since I only had the phone for less than 10 days in that invoice cycle. Apparently Nashua Mobile do not pro-rata the hardware subsidy either. They don't tell you this when you upgrade. My understanding was that I would get invoiced according to my new contract rates the next month.

Furthermore, I am still being charged a hardware subsidy of R70 for my previous contract and have been told by the consultant that this will continue to be charged until November 2013 (until the full 24 months of that contract is done). Why then do they allow people to upgrade before 24 months?

That is fine, but then surely the hardware subsidy for the new phone should only then be invoiced when the new 24 month period commences because this now means that I will be paying a hardware subsidy for the new phone for more than 24 months. From now until November 2015 - 26 months.

I have been a client with Nashua for 10 years and i am disappointed.
