Cannot get through to anyone

I have a phone that I need to claim on. I was given a number to call. firstly the voice prompt asks for the cell number the query relates to and it doesn't accept the number on the fist try, I had to put it in several time and often I was cut off as it just didn't register my number. I have a screen on my phone so I know the number I was inputting was correct. Eventually it says wait for an operator, and after about 20 - 30 minutes of waiting, I got cut off, this was repeated over a period of 4 days and I still have not been able to speak to anyone. I also emailed a contact from a previous claim but I have had no response from that email either. I am SO frustrated by the exercise and quite frankly don't know what to do. I went into MTN and was advised to take this route as the branch are not able to supply me with a loan phone an di conduct a huge amount of business using my cell phone, so I had no other option than the one I took. Please help!!
