I contacted my Insurance agency to submit a claim for a lost phone, they advised me to get a case number from the SAPS. The SAPS has advised that I should first get a ITC blacklisted number from the Service Provider before I can make an affidavit for the insurance. I then called MTN and spoke to Albert on 083 123 3032 who referred me to the Prepaid number 173. I dialed 083 173 from a landline and could not connect, I dialed 083 173 from my handheld and still could not get through Failing which I opted to forward my contact details to the website "Ask a question" [Email Removed] Pending a response. I then called the headoffice landline who put me through to the same ridiculous option choice menu on 173. I held on for option zero to speak to a consultant and got cut off. Aaaaahhh! now I remember why I cancelled my contract and eventually ported my number. Now I still cant claim for the lost phone (which I promised my son)
