Cell C contacted me in the beginning of March 2013 asking me if I would like to upgrade my contract. I agreed and receive my new phone on the 11 March 2013. Since then I have contacted them numerous times, to activate my new phone, and holding on for more that 30 minutes at a time. I even went to the Cell C branch in Cape Gate but was told that they cannot assist as they are a franchise and that I need to contact the 084145 number and speak to them. When I eventually got through and spoke to someone at the 084145 number, this was before the Easter weekend, she told me that my number must not be activated but must be ported to the new phone. She then assured me that I will be contacted within 2 days, but no one did. I also send a faxed to their complaint fax number 08414329 on the 09/04/2013 but no one has come back to me. I also had about 2 hours free off peak minutes left on my previous contract that was taken away and I was not told that this will happen if I take the upgrade. I paid for that minutes and I want it back. Job's patience growing thin!!!
