Waiting for phone

My mom took out a cell c contract (BlackBerry 8520) for me in July 2010. I then gave the phone back in in January 2011 for software updates and got my phone back fast. On the 09th of November 2012 I gave my phone in again for: phone freezes, Poor signal / Dropped calls, Display reads insert sim card, sos calls, don't link to pc and messages not showing (all of these are software problems). When Cell c called me back they said my phone wasn't bought at Cell c I told the guy that it is a Cell C phone and that I will show him the contract as I heard afterword's the person that logged my phone had put in the incorrect IMEI number. When I left for holiday on the 14th of December my phone wasn't back yet I went to the Cell C Norwood branch were the phone was given in and the Manager Michelle gave me a lone phone and promise that my phone will be back before I get back form my holiday. On the 04th of Jan 2013 I got a call to say that my phone has been assessed and that it will cost R600.00 to fix I rejected that quote because why must I pay for software problems if it is coffered in the contract.
