I received a letter stating that my contract will be expiring 31/08/2013 and will continue on a month to month basis. In the event that i want to cancel i need to mail the request to [Email Removed] I did so an immediately had a response indicating that if i wish to cancel i have to visit the branch and speak with the GM or Client Liaison to state the reasons etc. why i want to cancel. I phoned the Montana branch and they informed me that i have to come in and complete form for cancellations. I indicated that they need to fax/mail the forms and i was advised that they cannot do so. I have no interest to go to the Gym where i know i will be approached by a sales person who will try and sell me a new contract. I have the right to Cancel my contract and i have done so in writing. I do not expect any debit orders to go of and i will cancel it with the bank.
The cancellation form may be mailed/faxed to me and i will return it via mail or fax. I still find this is a way for the company to hold on to clients in an illegal manner and by sending out letters with false information and this relates to the so called cancellation via [Email Removed]
