FNB Smart Device Promotion Appalling

I recently opened an FNB account with the view of accessing the benefit of a smart device on an installment plan. I have been recently contacted by one of the consultants to inform me that my application was unsuccessful due to my Trans credit Union report score being low. My current Transcredit Union report is classified as Very Good. To aggravate the situation of not receiving my smart device (the primary reason for opening an account with FNB) in the process of switching debit orders from my current Nedbank account they did not switch one of the debit orders that I had explicitly requested to be switch. I was not informed as well that the application would be based on the Transcredit Union Score and the value of that score. I suspect that this impacted on my Transcredit Union Score which in spite of this remains excellent. If I had i would not have invested time in the process of switching bank accounts. I'm seriously disappointed with the service of FNB.
