Telkom Marketing dept, had a campaign running in September, whereby they offered you free installation of a telephone, free wifi, free 3g dongle, free modem, 500MB, free calls at night from 7pm -7am.
I took up the offer, and there after all communication took place by sms, Telkom requested a any statement with my address be send to them, which I e-mailed to them. Bongi Chiliza, replied back advising that my application has been forwarded to they techinical dept for further processing. I then received an sms requesting that I pay R700.00 installation fee. The sms also stated that payment must be done withing 7 working days, after which my application will be cancelled if no payment is received. I immediately phoned Telkom and cancelled my order.
To my surprise I received an invoice from them requesting I pay R198 for subscription services, made upas TI-AllAccess-Standard 5GB-TIN2227680-Oct13, AllAccess-Standard 5GB-TIN2227680-Nov'13.I've been calling they 10210 number, you hold on for very long. Telkom please reverse this invoice and cancel my application as requested, I'm not paying for something that I've cancelled. I've this is not cancelled within the next 7 days, you'll be hearing from my lawyers.
