Deposit Required with "FREE" installation

I applied for one of the "Simple" Telkom specials and while on the phone all checks were done and a ref. no. was supplied. The next day I received a SMS welcoming me to Telkom internet services with a username and e-mail address. I was very impressed with their service but then I received an SMS today saying that I must pay a R700 deposit before they can continue with the installation, this was not mentioned once during the application. With previous experience with Telkom services that could not be provided to my residential address (which they tried to bill) I'm not willing to take a chance. Currently Telkom is an option and not a requirement so please cancel my order if you insist on a deposit. I'm more than willing to pay the deposit once you have the service up and running.
