I have been a loyal client of Mtn for 15 years, despite numerous problems I experienced with them.
Recently MTN failed to process the debit order mandate that faxed to them. As a result the account fell in arrears. When I became aware of this I immediately settled the account in full. Without any notification, however, Mtn permanently deactivate my cell number.
I have sent numerous e-mails, but the only response I got was that the query was redirected to the correct department who would contact me. I had no other response.
I called "customer services", when a lady called Eunice promised me that she had sent an email to "Legal" who would contact me within 24 Hours to reactivate the account. I am still waiting. I have also been to Harris Cellular in Kokstad where I have been a loyal customer for almost 15 years. Luvuyo, who was extremely helpful, tried to contact "Legal" in an effort to help. However, he simply cannot get through.
I use this cell number for business purposes including, internet banking. I now face bankcrupcy as my business fail to function. I PLEAD, MTN, HELP ME PLEASE!!
