I have recently added telkom adsl 1 mb uncapped to a phone line. I have received the bill for R989. When I activated the adsl the call centre notified me that the monthly fee will be R670 for the adsl and anytime minutes. They spoke to my mum because the Telkom line is on her name. They did a credit check over the phone with her and the call centre agent told me that they might be a one month in advance fee which has to be paid depending on the credit rating but when she did the check, there was NO fee which had to be paid in advance. Then I was told that I would only pay for the adsl once the line is activated. The line was activated on the 5 October.

Secondly the speed of downloads are 102- 106kbps>thats not 1Mb

Im still waiting for feedback from the 29 October and sent 2 emails.
