On the 7th of Sep 2013 I went to the Telkom/8ta store in brooklyn pretoria. I wanted to cancel my 8ta - Internet promo 5 contract. The full 24 month period has been completed.

The shop manager made a photocopy of my ID and requested that I put in writing on the copy that I wanted the contract stopped. I asked if this was all that needed to be done? He said that was all and that the contract will stop at the end of September.

I was billed in Oct for the contract, I went to the shop and the lady told me that It will stop end of Oct because of 30 day's notice.

This morning I was billed again by telkom, So effectively they are now money from me and I have no recourse.

If I go in today they will just tell me that this will count as my 30 day notice and that it will stop in Dec 2013. So I will probably be billed for that as well.

I have a copy of the document created on the 7th of September 2013 proving I went in to stop the contract.
