Poor poor service

We were informed that telkom will do installation on wednesday 30 october. But when I queried the time they said they will phone before they come. I had someone sitting there the whole day. My entrance is a big silver gate on the side of the house, clearly visible from the street. The afternoon she went round to the back of the house and saw a paper that they were there and nobody was home. She notified me immediately and I started phoning telkom. I was transferred to the so called technician who did not speak to me. I could hear him breathing, walking and everything he was doing. He did not once answer me. Since then I made several calls to find out when they will do installation, cost more than r100 and today I was informed that they have to make another booking. Why wasn't I informed of this with the first phone call?? I also gave them my contact details in the application and they keep sending sms's and phoning to the wrong number. If it starts like this, I think I should cancel because then a person will only have problems the rest of the way. But then how long before I can get my deposit back?? Maybe 2 years??
