My prepaid data was controlled, yet a bit on the expensive side. You can imagine how excited i was when i got a call from Cell C offering me a 2Gig p/m Data deal for R45 p/m. I wasn't in the market for a contract, but because this deal seemed so good i signed up. Recently i went through my bank statements and realised that i have been paying between R400-600pm! (Strange because most of the time i cant connect to the Internet) i requested a CellC bill & realise that I'm actually on a 500mb contract! i phoned the call centre and got transferred from pillar to post. I spoke to one Jabulile with a very attitude. the more i tried to tell her what the telesales person offered me, the more she tells me what contract i have. She said because they have to refer to the call recording it will take 2 business days to get back to me. that was on 24Oct. Today is 01Nov and i still haven't heard anything! i want this contract cancelled and reimbursed for all the charges in access of what i signed up for. Also as soon as my cellphone contract ends, i'm porting to another Network!
