I recently enquired as to cancelling my Cell C speedstick data contract as FNB were offering a laptop with a Cell C contract. I received an e-mail stating that my contract could not be cancelled and had 6 months left. Approximately 2 weeks later my internet stopped working, on enquiring I was told my contract had been cancelled at my request, I stated that my e-mail clearly stated ENQUIRY. I instructed Cell C to re-instate my contract, but was told they could not and that I had to go to a store and resign a contract, even though the contract was cancelled by Cell C incorrectly.
I have recently signed up with the opposition and am happy that I have done so, I no longer get dropped internet connections and my internet experience is much better.
