Outrageous and abnormal billing

I entered into contract with Vodacom for R149.00 2 GB data per month. After long time they just took R4000. I disputed a case and we came on agreement of slashing the price to R1724.12, provided I do not cancel the account and I do reactivation and sign a new top-up contract and make arrangement to pay off the money we agree on. I did everything as they ask me to and call to make an agreement. The lady on the other side of the line told me I have to pay off everything that day or else pay the whole R4000.00. I was take from pillar to post trying to solve this until I gave up and stop using their service. Lately when I want to obtained credit from my bank it show that I don't have affordability because Vodacom refuse to update their system that I have contract with them for R4000.00 per month. This is not true reflection of my account and they just don't want to update their system. I want to obtain money from my bank and pay them once and for all and settle this but they seem reluctant to help me. I am suffering a great deal about this stupid mistake their doing deliberately to get back on us because of their bad service to their customers. I think what they are doing is illegal.
