In May 2013 I signed up for a Cell C contract and have had NETWORK problems and issues from DAY 1.
Dropped calls.
Crossed lines! (in what century did you last hear of something like that!??)
Super-poor data stability.
I have called the call centre. Numerous times.
They have called me back. Numerous times.
I have filed a complaint on hellopeter. NO JOY.
THE ONLY reaction I ever got was - we need to refer this to our technical department and we will get back to you. ( I might add that a 'techie' as they call them, did call me once - and I did lose my temper... I WAS CALLING about a network issue - could hardly get a voice call going, and the chap insisted that if I do not receive the e-mail WITH AN ATTACHMENT, fill it out and e-mail it back - I cannot be helped... Eventually, after some screaming, he asked me the questions over the phone...)
Guess what. Almost November. NOTHING!
They once told me that when I am in Limpopo and the signal is bad, it uses Vodacom's network, so that is not their problem. THAT WAS IT. I DO NOT PAY VODACOM. I PAY YOU!!!
I bought a prepaid MTN sim card for everyday use. Double costs. Wow, that is nice!
