I have a Vodacom Data Contract and pay R149 for 2gigs per month. I used up my allocation for January and had to purchase more data for the rest of the month. I was shocked to discover that 500megs of data costs R149! 4 times more expensive than the data on contract. I was forced to make the purchas as I need the data, but feel that this is a total ripoff!! Why can't customers have a facility to purchase additional data at the same price as the data purchased viat the monthly contract?
I will definitely move to another service provider when my contract ends. Come on Vodacom, stop ripping your valuable customers off.
I mean, Cell C and Telkom offer data packages for about R149 for 10gigs of data per month! So how can Vodacom justify charging almost 5 times the cost for data than its competitors.
