Believe - you will never be assisted!

On 5 June of this year I lost the sim card for my cell phone. I phoned Cell C Call Centre & they promised me that the number has been blocked. I requested that my current pay-as-you-go number be made the primary number on the account. I was promised that this is not a problem and would be sorted out. I was informed that an amount of R250 would be charged for this change.

This has not happened. After numerous phone calls I still have to pay for an account that I cannot use!! Every time you phone you get a different story and a call will be logged to another department, who would phone back. I have had one phone call, and the person told me that the call must be logged with a different department. This person could not log the call, which meant I had to phone again; and again and again!!

What must I do!!! All I want is to be able to use the cell account that I'm paying for!! How difficult can this be?!?

Currently I've paid R375pm for the last 5 months that I can't use AND I've been paying a pay-as-you-go. However, when I phoned in October to try and sort this out again, I was told my account is in arrears and I cannot be assisted until it is paid!!

How do I sort this out?
