In 2007 I signed up for a contract after three months I still had no access to the service and thus cancelled my account. My deposit was not repaid. Years after the incident I was phoned and told to pay a random amount. I explained the situation and never heard from them again, I thought the situation was resolved. Then a year later they phoned again. Same explanation and never heard from them again. That is until now. My credit record states that I owe them an amount. I don't understand why this is not resolved, why I have to pay for a service which I never received and why after more than five years it reflects on my credit record all of a sudden.
