My sons Blackberry fone started to reboot non stop. I took it to Vodafone how send it to there repair centre in Somerset West how send it to Joburg. When I handed it in, the consultant wrote on the intake form the fone has no visible damage. More than 3 weeks went past. I cot a SMS saying I must collect. on my arrival I was informed that the fone is damaged beyond repair an that it will cost me more than R 1 700.00 to get fixt. there report seas as follows: bad drop damage and board bent scratches. If a Blackberry fone is dropped so hard that the pc board bent, the body wood not be damaged it wood be in pieces. My doters Blackberry did the same. I took it in for repairs last week. They've just inform me that the resold is the same. The owner of the Vodafone shop took it in himself. He also reported no visible damage.
I want Vodafone to replace the 2 fones on warranty
