Vodacom kept sending me sms, mails and phoned me regarding the upgrade of my 3G contract. I refused to upgrade before the contract expired as I had problems before where I had paid for an old contract and started paying for a new contract at the same time. But waiting for the contract to expired didn't help. I took the option of a netbook with my 3G contract in 2010 and the contract expired in August 2012. After several phone calls and logging calls I finally managed to get Vodacom to stop charging me for the netbook (took 4 months!) and only charge me for the tab I took on the new contract, however I am still struggling for Vodacom to refund me the R1000 they overcharged me. And since I am on the new contract (1.5G) and can only use 500M and then I keep receiving messages that I "have reached the volume limit for 3G connections". I once again phoned this week with the promise that I will be contacted within 24 hours to resolve these problems. Guess what? Still waiting and closing in on 5 months now!
