I purchased a Sony Z experia on contract on the 05.05.2013, I decided on this phone to to the water proof future that they sell it to you, 2 weeks ago i decided to take some snap shots in the rain.
After my snapshots in the rain, my phone lost some response on buttons and the touch screen, I could see water in my 2 camera lenses. I tried to dry asap with a towel and blowing in the openings, it had water inside, and even though I tried to dry it as much as possible, it just died.
I then phoned Sony direct, the sales person had no care in the world, and said they dont replace water damaged phones... so listen up Sony, you will get plenty returns on this phone as no phone is water proof, water will find its way in.
If you did not advertise it as water proof I would of not purchased it, and most defenitely not use it in the rain. Because of your service I will never purchase your product again, and ensure every social networks gets this post.
Dont do false advertising, and dont hide things like the water damage indicators from your clients, and ensure you tell them that if it gets water damaged you will not replace it, if you did tell me, I would of purchased a samsung.
