BRAND NEW PHONE FAULTY

I upgraded my cellphone contract with mtn at the start of the October month to buy a cellphone for my daughter. My daughter has had the phone for less than 2 weeks when the screen went black and would not show any picture at all. She tried starting and restarting the phone and even left it unused onver night thinking it may need cooling off. However, the screen remained black and without picture, I took the phone in to the mtn branch here in Bloemfontein to return it as it was clear that we had been given a faulty phone. I was told that the factory would take the phone for 2 weeks, repair it and then return it to us.

I think it is highly unfair that we have to wait for 2 weeks to wait for this phone to be repaired because in the very first instance it is clear that they had given us a faulty phone. My daughter cannot wait 2 weeks for this already fautly phone to be repaired, she needs this phone at the present moment because it is what we use to get in touch with her when we fetch her from her school activities. Please help me we need a brand new phone with out faults as soon as possible.
