On wednesday, 9th October, my girlfriend received sms stating that her Phone service had been suspended due to overlimit amount. This amount was promptly paid on 10/10/2013, however service remained suspended. As contract was due to expire, decided to move from Anytime contract to Topup contract, which was duly concluded on Monday, 14/10/2013 at MTN shop in Mooirivier Mall in Potchefstroom. Was told to allow few hours to pass before resuming service. Today is 16/10/2013 and latest is that the number is RICA barred! Implication of this is that the call number 083-1-808 will not allow any queries on this MTN cell number because the number is 'RICA-barred" She has been using this number since prior to 2000... what can she do? Her cellphone is coupled to banking and many other things which is now resulting in tremendous inconvenience! Please advise and HELP! My friend's cell number is entered below, as obviously mine is 'RICA-barred"
