I joined Vodacom a couple of days ago and was not able to port my old number to their network. This is firstly due to a up with my porting request by one of their employees and lastly because a new number has now been activated on my new sim card. I need not explain the schlep it creates by changing a contact nr and informing everyone about it. I was also given a very snotty response by the call centre that theres no going back and nothing an be done about it. I find it unacceptable and very odd to believe that even in the 21st century we can still get such a response to a problem. My new number is now 076 404 5639
