I recently wished to purchase a 3g USB modem, I went to the Shelly beach mall, to the Vodacom store and much to my disgust the price cash was R799.00. I drove down the road to the OK furniture and bought the exact same modem for R99.00. I understand that the Vodacom store inside Shelly beach Mall could be franchised and/or privately owned however I think it is disgusting that these stores branding the "Vodacom" name are allowed to charge ridiculous amounts when furniture stores are able to provide 7x better pricing on a Vodacom product?!
