After seeing an advertisement for the iPhone 4 @ R199.00 p/m on Smart S at the Vodacom in Galleria, I decided to rather place an order with the online shop for Two phones. After they told me that the product has been discontinued, I went to the Vodacom in Galleria to see if they had stock left of the item. After the consultant assured me that stock was due to arrive on the 1st of October, I placed the order with them for Two of the iPhones. They, too, phoned me on the 1st of Oct, to tell me the same story of the phone being discontinued, even though they are still advertising the deal.
I told the consultant that I needed two phones straight away, and that I would take the Samsung S III Mini from him, and get the iPhone 4 at Makro straight after that. He failed to disclose that once I take a contract with him, that I would need to wait another 90 Days before I can take another contract with Vodacom. His excuse was; "It worked before", and it cost me 3 hours of driving from one shop to the other, to get the problem sorted. I eventually gave up, and went home disappointed at the service and "supposed advice" that was given. Only Vodacom at Makro was extremely helpful.
