I have been a customer of Altech Autopage for over 8 years - my cellphone bill btwn R3k TO R8k pm (which means nothing to Altech Autopage apparently). They sold me an insurance policy for R64 for my iphone which i have faithfully paid for every month. On selling the policy to me they forgot to tell what a lot of nonsense this policy was. I then had my phone screen damaged! On phoning their USELESS call centre - I was advised that it would take between 4 - 6 weeks to have the phone repaired!! I could not believe this - I was told that it not their fault - its the insurance company. They disassociate themselves with the Insurer!! -, as far as I am concerned if you sell me something on behalf of someone you are liable for the quality of service of this thing. To cut the longstory short - its been 7 weeks, my phone is not fixed- they are now giving me an additional leadtime of 4-6 weeks! I have spoken to over 20 call agents - of which 3 are managers which my case has been escalated to (Aldren, Lucia & Impiazz). Everyone promises to get back to you - THEY NEVER DO. Everyone is so sorry - but never resolve any issues. I HAVE ASKED FOR MY PHONE BACK UN REPAIRED, NO ONE CAN HELP!!!
