Virgin Mobile SA you are a disgrace to Richard Branson.

My contract was due to expire in July 201. In order to give timeous notice to cancel, I called in May to advise my cancellation. I was told that they cannot cancel as I must only advise 1 month before the contract expires, on 14th June. I subesequently called several times from 3pm until 8pm on 14th June with no luck. I finally got through the Saturday, only to be told that i am a day late and that as a result, my contract will only shut off on 14th August and my last debit order payment will go though on 2 September. Desspite my protests about not being able to get through the day before,
I could not get through to the Call centre Consultant - she rudely insisted she is following the rules. I had a heated argument with her insisting that it was not my fault if no one takes the calls or you are kept on hold for 30 minutes at at time

I now discovered on my bank statement that debit orders are still going through - the last on 30 Sept.
I demand officially that this contract be cancelled and I am refunded asap. My contract number is 0741117244.

I hope you will restore my belief in the Virgin brand
