An unhappy ex-custome

I cancelled my Virgin contract on the 12th April 2013. The contract ended on 20th May. I received my last statement which I then paid and assumed that no more statements would be sent. I then found that I had received a statement for July. I called the call centre again on 23 July. It took me ONE hour to get this sorted out again. Forty of these minutes were spent with me calling the help centre over again as I kept getting cut off each time I finally got through to a consultant. I finally spoke to two people who assured me that my request had officially been sent through to the cancellation department. Surprise surprise - I have just received a statement for August! I do not have the time to spend on hold/getting cut off again for the third time to cancel this contract.
