I phoned the call centre yesterday and was told to pay an amount of R1900.21 same as the statement received to activate the phone. I went to Kenilworth Centre and paid R2 000. the phone was soft lock and I was promised it will be activated between 1 - 4 hours. After 4 hours I phoned the 082111 and an arrogant person spoke to me.
She was so full of her self and came across stupid, she insisted I pay the outstanding amount for October, which I have not even received an account for. She eventually put the phone down in my ears.
This morning I phoned the cape town number and it was confirmed that my account is not in arrears and the R500 was only due at the end of October. Phone was still locked and at 13h00 today still is.
VODACOM what happened to "Treat the Customer Fairly".
