MTN Direct - poor service

On the 16th of January my cell phone contract was upgraded by MTN Direct. My complaint is not about the process but just a few points.
The consultant asked for my MTN pin which I gave her - this was suppose to bypass all the other security questions. She nevertheless asked me each and every security question and when I gave the wrong address the first time she mentioned that "I seem to be very bad at remembering details." I have tried numerous times online to change my address and MTNs active system does not change it.
Anyway, when all details were captured, I was assured that I would receive the phone within 5 days. I had actually upgraded to a much more expensive package because I could not afford to be without a phone and all the iphones available on my package were not in stock (i opted for the 64GB iphone at an increased package cost).
It is now many days later and I have not received the phone - I was told that the sales process is still not complete. I was also assured that a supervisor would contact me as he had taken over my upgrade but to date I have heard nothing. No one at MTN Direct is able to help me - I see this as a breach of contract and demand a response
