Terrible Service trying to upgrade a contract

I work for a company that recently decided to upgrade a contract that was held for longer than 10 years. The initial request was responded to by a consultant who provided a list of available phones and contract deals. During this process, the consultant went on leave and the process was taken over by another direct sales account manager. This is when things started going astray. Upon looking at the available deals I contacted the new person and requested a specific deal, having researched the deal's details online, and having read through the supplied information, I was confident in what the package would cost and include. Upon speaking to the consultant, it was apparent she had no clue about the details and pricing of the package, which was featured on the MTN Direct website. The information received by the previous consultant and what was now being presented were drastically inconsistent, but after some discussion, we agreed upon the price and details that were previously received. Upon submitting the signed, I received an email notifying me that the deal was no longer valid and that the price had increased. I find this level of service grossly unacceptable.
