I upgraded my contract from an advertisement on Mtn Direct website. I chose a Phone and premium I could afford.
An ammount of R700.00 was deducted from my account without my knowledge or permission. After phoning numerous times I was told it is a handset charge?!! The package was advertised free handset and BIS.
This was not mentioned to me once, and they have just taken the money from my account!
I have phoned customer services 5 times. A lady by the name of Tammy Pillay said she would resolve this by lostening to the telephone recording. This was 3 weeks ago. Every time I phone the number she gave me, I have to go throught the whole verification process, only to hear that I must leave her a Message. I have had no response from her or anyone to resolve this issue. I even sent the supervisor an email. The supervisor email is: [Email Removed] I then went on the online Mtn Fraudline and reported Mtn as fraudilent as they money from my account. No response. I went online and lodged a formal complaint - No response. Lets see if we can wake them up with Hello Peter. I could not buy food this month due the money taken from my account. This is illegal.
