I opened a contract with Vodacom with a monthly subscription of R299 in Jun'14. According to Vodacom the account was in arrears from Oct'13 and i had to pay an amount and non-debit order charges of /-R100 to get the account up to date which i did.
Upon doing the payment Vodacom informed me that i had to get a new sim for /-R100 and there will be a re connection fee of R285.
I am now being billed for a new sim plus reconnection fee, debit charges for which i was not made aware of an arrear on my account in the first place. The first time i was made aware was in Jan'14.
I am unjustly being billed for various charges and connection fees based on Vodacom accounts department negligence. Whenever i call Vodacom i get transferred or cut off. I have been telling them all along but to no avail.
I was going to be blacklisted if i did not pay the arrears.
Please Vodacom get your accounts department in order and please reverse all incorrect fictitious charges i have been charged including the R4140.04 pending? Hope other clients are not having the same concerns. Disgruntled Vodacom customer.
