I applied for a contract over the Vodacom website. At that time (3 weeks ago) Vodacom had the blackberry 9720 on top up for R179 per month, which also included 100 sms and 100 mb data. On activation of my contract a week or so later I was shocked to be advised that this contract did not include 100sms and 100 mb data per month. An arrogant after sales agent advises me that she logged onto the website and confirmed that it did not include the above. I advised her that this could not be so as I originally took the contract for what it offered and I would not be negligent in the details as to what was offered as per the website. To my shock and amazement I logged onto the website straight after the call to see that VODACOM HAD CHANGED THE WHOLE WEBSITE and now had removed the 100 sms and 100 mb data!! Clearly vodacom falsely advertised which is very unethical even for vodacom. So what am I supposed to do after being to? This would be the first step I guess.
