I have a data contract with cell c for 2gb of data at R149.95 per month. Once the data bundle has been depleted they charge me R1 per mob which is nearly 7 times more than their advertised rate of R0.15c per mb. I receive no warning that my data bundle is about to be depleted but just go straight into out of data bundle rates of R 1 per mb. I have on several occasions asked cell c to place a soft lock on the account once the bundle has been depleted. They refuse to do so and say that the minimum limit is R50. This means that I now pay R50 Plus Vat for 50mb of data. My contract is for R149.95 and this is all I want to spend on this account. I think that this is a and a rip off! I don't believe anyone would be satisfied with this ridiculous data rate.
