Dear Vodacom,
Please explain the concept of "out of bundle data rates". it's an absolute mystery that I can enter into a "data" contract based on a specific usage / cost & then be charged exorbitant rates when I exceed that limit.
Example : 2Gb contract @ R199 per month = About 10 cents per MB for "in bundle" rate, once the bundle is exceeded the rate jumps to R2 per MB.
How do you justify this?
It is after all a data contract, not a voice contract with a data bundle added, & exceeding the estimated bundle means more revenue for you, so how do you justify the ridiculous rates.
Worst case scenario you could charge a 10-20% premium anything else is daylight.
How is it that this is justified & ICASA and the consumer "protectors" allow it?
