In September 2012 I applied to have my ADSL line moved as I was moving house 1 October.
The technician came to the new place a few times for installation but eventually at the end of the month told me that the line could not be installed and therefore I had to call and cancel the line.
When I called to cancel the line I enquired about what would happen with the payment I made when I was unable to use the land line or ADSL. I was told the someone would contact me soon to discuss.
After no contact was made, I went to PE branch at The Bridge to find out and was told that I have no choice, I must pay for another month as well, because of the notice for cancellation. No option for dispute, nothing.
Because I expected the line to be installed I paid in October ( /- R600) as well, so R1200 in the air and my statements clearly show no calls and none of the 10GB's of internet was used in the 2month period. Bad service and not getting what you pay for. king ridiculous!
