No progress on ADSL installation

When I applied for a land line, the lady at the Telekom Shop said that my area definitely qualified for ADSL. My land line finally got installed, but now it has been close to a month and still there is no indication as to when my ADSL line will be activated.

It now sonde like my area is not ADSL ready (or there are no open ports or something along that line.

I got my land line installed purely for ADSL, but now Im being billed for something I am not using. The call centre can not give me any indication as to when the line will be ready.
