No help, useless service, no action

I cancelled my Vodacom account on the 21st of august, paying a cancellation fee of R299, on the 24th I received messages from Vodacom saying my upgrade was successful. this was a operation. they assured me that all actions on the account and on the upgrade had been stopped immediately. they requested a police afidavid to confirm I did not upgrade the contract in clear waters mall, Joburg, this was impossible as I live in east London. I sent through documentation requested, I was sent an email 2 Aug confirming that all was closed. calling them to confirm this I was told my number had been changed to pre paid, and account cancelled. on the 30th Sept my account was debited for R438.01 by Vodacom!!! I have spent the last 2 days calling to fix this, sending and resending documents! how can they confirm my contract is cancelled and still debit money off my account! they have no idea who can help me in their departments and they have money from me!!! I will never use them again! and I will turn everyone I know away from them!!
