I have a telkom branded Netgear N300 router that has 3G failover. Telkom has locked the device to only work with very specific Huawei 3G dongles that they don't even have stock of. I have visited several stores and tried calling their helpline but I either receive totally different advise from each person or I'm simply told they don't sell those 3G dongles anymore.
I have moved to an area where there is no ADSL service and telkom also have no plans to bring it to this area. So I am now stuck with a router I cannot use.
