Poor Service-MTN Waterfront

I upgraded my phone on the 18th September 2013, activation date 19th September 2013. The phone I chose was the Galaxy S4. The phone packed up on Saturday morning, the 28th September. I went in to the MTN store at the Waterfront and was bluntly told that my 7 days were up and I had to have the phone repaired. I did not appreciate the lack of peoples skill that the manager displayed. I got angry and said I would cancel my contract, to which he just responded by telling one of his assistants to give me the paperwork and then walked off.
I have been an MTN contract user, since my first cellphone and certainly do not appreciate this type of service, I had to take the phone to the Samsung repair centre in Canal walk, who had no spare parts and stating that it would take 8-10 days to repair. I then had to get a spare phone from my son, who lives in Wynberg.
I spent close on 4 hours travelling just because I was given a faulty phone.
I am in the service industry as well and if I were to treat my customers in this fashion, my business would not exist any more.
