I opened an account in 2004. IN 2006 I went to the Glen Shopping Centre, settled and cancelled the contract. Their consultant confirmed settlement and cancellation.

In Dec 2008 I tried to apply for a contract with Vodacom and was declined due to MTN having me listed as a defaulter.

I enquired and was advised that I still owed R1428.00. After many days of disputing this I eventually paid the amount because I felt that I was going to get no where with anyone and would much rather have no further dealings with MTN.

Between 2006 and 2008 NO ONE FROM MTN HAD MADE CONTACT WITH ME!!!

An email was sent to them on 10 September 2013 (ref 7036924), to which I am still waiting for a response. Their automated response says they will respond to your query within 45 working hours (5 working days).

I have written on their facebook wall twice and sent several inbox messages to them. One of their staff members, namely Kagiso, keeps replying with one liner messages basically saying we will get back to you.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! they have affected my credit record!!

I have all the supporting documents.
