We (Clients) suffer for incompetent staff!!!

My contact was due for cancellation, however 8ta continued to bill my account. I enquired and I was informed that the number could be diverted to prepared if that was what I wanted. I called 8ta and confirmed that I would like the number to be converted and all was well. Sadly I received a call from a consultant (Khumo Ernst) who sounded depressed on the call and did not even do security checks and only asked what number contract I needed cancelled. I advised her correctly and to my surprise I received No calls or text messages after the call. Guess what!!! My number does not exist!!! She cancelled my numebr and not the contract because I have been billed for the month!!!
I have called and spoken to a few consultants and sadly the turn around time is 7 working days!!! How the should I wait for my numebr to work for 7 working days!!! It takes them less than 5 minutes to cancel my number that I have already paid and maybe 7 days to reinstate it!! this is madness!!!
