ADSL LINE - CAPACITY AT THE EXCHANGE REACHED

I am here to say: "Telkom you are an absolute joke. I have no faith in you whatsoever and cannot wait for you to be completely privatised so that I may actually receive some kind of service rather than being given the bureaucratic run-around time after time after time after time after time..."

FACTS:
2 weeks ago I had an ADSL line (1Mbps speed, Broadband) installed at my place in Glencairn. I visited the Telkom store in Longbeach Mall, Sun Valley, to check if this was possible and if the infrastructure was good, etc. I was assured and guaranteed that this was the case and so I went ahead with the plan, making sure that all my 'ducks were in a row'.

I received instructions re: activation of ADSL, etc. which I promptly followed.

After setting up the WiFi and connecting, I have had Nothing. I checked the Network Cable (LAN) on my laptop to ensure that it wasn't a problem with the WiFi Configuration and... Nothing. I have subsequently found out that neighbours have had the same problems.

I researched this and discovered its the CAPACITY AT THE EXCHANGE, the INFRASTRUCTURE IS INADEQUATE.

Yet Telkom is still happy to offer this 'service' and take my money...
