Overcharging me on new contract

In June 2013 I upgraded to a R314 top-up contract. I was told it is only effective in August. Well, on 26th Sepember 2013 my bank account was debited with R1304??? On a R314 contract and I ran out of airtime this week and had to load R110 in order for me to use the phone.. The lady helping me is unable to explain where this came from and is talking to head office who is also struggling to explain this amount. I have been charged on average R1100 pm for this contract over the past year - it's a car payment for heaven sakes I want this contract cancelled immediately, I am leaving my cellphone here and I need an answer on when I will be refunded for the overcharge
