Telkom - All and deception

I went to the Telkom store in Strubensvalley in early December to order a ADSL line. I was informed that there is a ADSL Port available.
The next day I received a SMS stating that a Telkom technician will be at my house on 20 December to install my line. I patiently waited the entire day, and no one pitched up. The next day I received another SMS telling me the same thing - Again I wait, again another day wasted. Over the next few weeks this cycle repeats - I get the SMS, I wait at home - no one shows up. Every time I phone the call centre or speak to someone at the store I am told a different lie - Either the cable is, there was a fire damaging the cable etc... I finally got hold of Siphiwe from the Escalation Centre yesterday. He apologised and promised to sort it out - Today I receive a sms stating Telkom is unable to provide me with a service as there is no infrastructure in my area - You are not even capable of telling the same. My neighbour has ADSL - His line has been working fine over December - Telkom, you are despicable and incompetent! After this ordeal you can be assured that I will never use any of your services again.
