I have complained for 2 years to Vodacom on the shocking signal in the Sundowner area. Granted, they came and installed a booster, but still with FULL signal, I constantly have cut calls, constantly have calls breakup and have slower downloads on 3G than with a dial up. They continue to take our subscriptions, make millions of rands in profit, but do not offer a service, or one that at least functions properly. Surely this can be related back to false advertising, to the consumer complaints commission. The WHOLE country continues to complain and yet nothing is done to address our concerns. It affects business, education and peoples sanity when they have to constantly deal with the lack of service from Vodaocom. Best is when phoning to complain and find out if there is something making the whole system slower than normal, that you wait online for 10 minutes to be answered, give over your query and then the line cuts, so you cant get an answer. Do they phone you back when they have your number on their screen, nope, because that would be customer service, but that is a foreign concept to all those at Vodacom.
